Every organization should develop an Emergency Notification System (ENS) Plan to identify the framework needed to provide timely, actionable, specific, and instructional information to recipients.

Join us for a complimentary two-day “Alertus Virtual Workshop: Emergency Notification System Planning” on Tuesday, November 9 & Wednesday, November 10 from 1:00 - 3:30 P.M. EST. During this interactive workshop, we’ll review how organizations can best alert and warn recipients before, during, and after natural disasters, human-caused incidents, and technological emergencies to save lives, mitigate the destruction of property, and limit degradation of the environment.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Learn the importance of ENS planning.

  • Participate in real time handout and worksheet activities to develop and understand ENS policies

  • Discuss the necessary elements to include in an ENS Plan.

  • Identify organizational roles and responsibilities to manage their ENS program.

  • Gain insight on the alerting criteria to activate their ENS program.

  • Explore scenarios and emergency messages to alert and warn recipients.

  • Develop a Standard Operating Procedure to activate their ENS program.

This workshop has limited seating accommodations, but a waiting list will be created once the workshop reaches full capacity. By registering, you are confirming that you will attend both the Tuesday and Wednesday sessions. If you register but are unable to attend, please notify our Events Manager, Jessica Bridgeman (jbridgeman@alertus.com), so we can issue your spot to the next person on the waiting list.
