IP Text-To-Speech
Self-Amplified Speaker
What does it do?
The Alertus IP TTS Speaker provides clear, intelligible spoken-voice announcements along with pre-recorded messages and special siren tones. As a standalone device, it integrates with existing infrastructure and offers an ideal solution for retrofitting facilities or older buildings where full-building PA system coverage is impractical or cost-prohibitive.
Why do you need it?
In an emergency situation, it’s crucial to have clear, calm, and consistent communications in place. However, live voice announcements can be challenging under stress. The IP TTS Speaker helps you reach everyone across your facility with crystal-clear audio messages and siren tones.
How does it work?
Incoming emergency alerts are received directly from the Alertus Server and converted into text-to-speech through powerful audio drivers. The speakers also serve as a system activation expansion point with two input and two output relays to control ancillary alerting appliances (i.e., strobes) while supporting one-touch activation strategies via activation buttons.
