For organizations in North America with a large geographic footprint, such as universities and military bases, Alertus will help you through the approval process to leverage Cell Broadcasting and Alertus for your organization. The Alertus System can integrate with public warning systems (such as IPAWS in the United States) to send geo-targeted alerts to cellular phones and any integrated endpoints of the Alertus System to reach everyone on your campus or base.
Regional & National Governments
Alertus offers complete deployment solutions for state or national governments that currently don’t have cell broadcast technologies or infrastructure. We will work with area telecom providers to set up a Cell Broadcast Center (CBC), then identify the best method of aggregating alerts (either a Cell Broadcast Entity-to-Cell Broadcast Center or Direct-to-Cell Broadcast Center deployment) and implement that solution on your organization’s behalf. Cell Carriers/Mobile Network Operators
Mobile network operators (MNOs) can use the Alertus System to manage and deploy alerts using their cellular networks. Alertus can integrate with an MNO’s existing CBC via REST, SOAP, CAP, or other preferred methods, or we can provide Cell Broadcast Centers for MNOs without existing CBCs. This enables MNOs to work with nations to utilize Cell Broadcast as part of their comprehensive emergency alerting and response services from a single activation point, streamlining the alerting process to get critical information to the public as quickly as possible.
EU-Alert Compliance
Alertus Cell Broadcasting solutions enable governments and cell carriers to meet public warning mandates such as EU-Alert. According to the directive, a Public Warning System (PWS) must be able to:
