“Incredible!”  “Awesome!”  “Amazing!”  “Trip of a Lifetime!”

These are just of a few of the reactions from Alertus team members about their recent trip to Peru as part of the company’s Circle of Excellence program.

The four-day excursion to South America, a first for most of the employees on the trip, featured an unforgettable adventure to one of the Seven New Wonders of the Word, Machu Picchu. There, the team took in the awe-inspiring view as they perused the dry-stone Incan structures erected during the 15th century.

The group’s accommodations had a unique twist as they stayed on the Uros Khantati Floating Islands on Lake Titicaca. Staying amongst the totora reeds, the home stay included canoeing, fishing and cultural immersion with the Uros people who operate the island.

Before returning to the US, there was plenty of time for more sightseeing, dining on local cuisine and relaxation.  

With this latest Alertus globetrotting chapter closed, the only question left is: “Where to next year?"
